Jérôme Fagla Médégan is a Beninese doctor and director of a cellular biological biochemical laboratory which has been discovered a treatment for Drepanocytose, the VK 500.
The Beninese authorities announced in June 2007 that it had been awarded a patent for their important discovery, with a specific citation for Jérôme Fagla Médégan, by the French Institute of Industrial Property INPI.
