Biography :

Sofia Boutella ( born April 3,1982) she is a model for Nike and a Hip Hop dancer. She is of Algerian origin and also has French nationality. She is the daughter of the well known composer and choreograph Safy Boutella.

Sofia Boutella she is one of the star dancers for Madonna. She is recognized as one of the top break dancers thanks to her suppleness and having done years of training in the Gymn. Madonna says of her “I think that she is wonderful and I am enchanted.”

"It is incredible” Madonna says, “this star is a teacher for me and I admire her hard work and determination, I watch her and I learn”.

Sofia started when she was very young going to a school that taught gymnastics, rhythm and sport. Her high level of performance took her to the National Championships in France. She won the break dance championships at St Denis in France and the Freestyl championships in Los Angeles.

It was at this time that she was noticed by the film producer Bianca Li la who gave her a role in the film "Le Défi", a dance film, and where she played the role of Samia. After that she continued to participate in various competitons. In 2005 she danced in an advert for Nike. She has continued to take roles in the cinema in films such “Permis d’Aimer”, various advertisement films such as Narta and for a car manufacturer and models for Nike, Puma, Adidas and Reebock.
